Full Time - City Administrator:
Salary Range $130K-$170K. Grimes is seeking an experi-enced and dedicated leader to be their next Administrator. The previous Administrator left after serving the community for over 22 years. The ideal candidate for Administrator will possess intelligence, energy and integrity, be professional, progressive, and an excellent communicator. The next Administrator should be prepared to be involved in the community, and seek to bring people together to foster a coordinated team.

Full Time - Finance Director:
Responsible for all city financial operations including debt issuance & tracking, capital improvement program, all required financial reporting, AR, AP and payroll. Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, and at least three years of experience. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Account Principles desirable. Salary range $60,000-$77,000 DOQ. The City of Grimes is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Grimes Public Library

Library Associate (Part Time)
The Grimes Public Library is currently seeking an enthusiastic, customer service oriented individual to fill the position of permanent part time Library Associate for an average of 15 hours per week. The qualified candidate will work Tuesday mornings from 8:45-12:45pm, Fridays from 9:45am-6:15pm and the 4th weekend of every month (Saturday 8:45am-5:15pm, Sunday 12:45pm-5:15pm.) The offered starting wage is $10.05 per hour.
The qualified candidate is detail oriented, well organized, adapts well to a changing environment, enjoys working with the public, and has above average computer skills.
Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with the public. Preferred requirements include some college and prior library experience.
