Friday, June 22, 2018- OWL ART CLASS W/ OWL PRESENTATION
Session 1- Going into Grades K-2: 9:30am - 12:00pm, Max of 22 kids
Session 2- Going into Grades 3-5: 12:15pm - 2:45pm, Max of 24 kids
$30 per child per session
-Owl Art Class includes a 30-minute presentation from SOAR (Saving Our Avian Resources) This exciting class is all about OWLS! Students will enjoy creating fabulous mixed media artworks and playing games. Terrie from SOAR will teach us about owls and introduce us to her live Screech Owl named Cedar. We will paint, draw and marker all while learning about the principals and elements of design.

Friday, June 29, 2018- SUPERHERO ART CLASS
Going into Grades K-2: 9:00am-11:30am, $25 per child, Max at 18 kids
-Students will turn themselves into a superhero and create a  mixed media artwork around their new identity. We will also play games, enjoy a snack and listen to music all within our superhero theme. Students will learn about face proportions, creating a sense of movement, and designing a successful composition. We will draw, paint and cut & paste.

Friday, July 6, 2018- REPTILES ART CLASS W/ ZOO PRESENTATION
Session 1- Going into Grades K-2- 9:30am - 12:00pm, $33 per child, Max of 22 kids
Session 2- Going into Grades 3-5: 12:15pm - 2:45pm, $33 per child, Max of 24 kids
-This exciting class is all about reptiles! Students will glaze a ceramic turtle, complete a perspective drawing, play games, and even meet live reptiles. Blank Park Zoo will join us for a 30 min. presentation at the end of class #1 and the beginning of class #2. We will center our art learning around craftsmanship, perspective, composition and color theory.

Thursday, July 26, 2018- RAINBOW UNICORN CLASS
Going into Grades K-2: 5:15pm - 7:45pm, $33 per child, Max of 22 kids
-Students will glaze a ceramic unicorn and create a magical drawing. We will also play games that get us active, listen to great music and enjoy a snack. Craftsmanship, color theory, and composition will be the main learning points in this super fun class.

-Art Education Endorsement from Concordia St. Paul
-State of Iowa Teaching License
-8 years of experience in teaching art in the public school system and currently teach all Kids Create classes.
-Passionate about sharing art with children and make it an exciting, self-esteem boosting experience!
