City Buildings Closed - Christmas

City of Grimes buildings are closed Friday, December 23rd and Monday, December 26th in observance of Christmas. Trash/recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday and will occur as normal on your regular pickup day. Winter yard waste collection will occur December 26, 2022 – January 6, 2023, on your regular collection day. During winter collection, regular yard waste, as well as live Christmas trees, can be disposed of curbside.
