A mattress for $19, a car for $495, and a 4 bedroom house for $23,000 — check out the ads in this newspaper from 1966. These papers were found in the home on Wallace Farm, which is being turned into a large park for events. The papers will be preserved and displayed in future elements of the park. While the buildings on the site were damaged beyond repair, the City was able to recover several unique items. These pieces will be repurposed in future structures during later phases of the project.
