The Grimes Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm. All regular meetings are open to the public and held at Grimes City Hall at 101 NE Harvey Street. The Park and Recreation Advisory Board was created to advise the City Council on facilities and funds which are needed to provide open space such as parks and playgrounds and community facilities for other types of recreation. The operations of the parks system is managed by the Public Works Director and staff.
